In January of 2001, she joined John G. Cooke & Associates Ltd. Lisa has been involved in historical masonry/roofing restoration, and
the design of single and multi-storey steel, timber, and concrete buildings and subsequent construction review. She also successfully completes seismic design for electrical/
mechanical systems.
Her technical knowledge and experience are based on the extensive number of projects she has successfully brought to completion. Lisa can make
independent assessment of various on-site conditions and recommend remedial action as appropriate. She has performed extensive construction review services.
Lisa is adept in the preparation of feasibility studies and building investigation reports. She is extremely competent in the preparation of bid
documents, construction budget estimates, and management of these projects during the construction phase. Additionally, Lisa is experienced in the preparation
of maintenance manuals.
PROJECTS:
Almonte Old Town Hall, Masonry, Roofing & Window Restoration
(2008-present):
This project involves on-going masonry/window restoration and slate re-roofing of the exterior facades. This is a multi-phase project. The scope of work included
a condition survey, preparation of the bid documents and construction administration during the four phases of work.
Electrical/Mechanical Seismic Certification
(2008-present):
These projects involve the seismic design for various electrical/mechanical equipment. Numerous contracting companies are repeat clients
due to the timely and economical designs Lisa provides.
Royal Canadian Mint, Masonry/Window Restoration
(2006-present):
This is a multi-phase masonry/window restoration project. Lisa has been instrumental in completing the intial building survey, in preparation of the bid documents
and contract administration, throughout this on-going project.
Glebe Community Centre Renovation
(2004):
Structural design and construction review for extensive building renovation. Scope of work included structural design of new ground floor in main gathering area,
new 2nd floor on south side of building, and new 2nd floor mechanical mezzanine on north side of building, as well as regular site reviews during construction.
