In April of 2000 he joined John G. Cooke & Associates Ltd. as a Junior Project Engineer. In this position he has been involved in historical masonry restoration, wall envelope condition survey in high-rise buildings, as well as reinforced concrete and structural steel building design and construction review. Marty is fluently bilingual.
His technical knowledge and experience are based on the extensive number of projects he has successfully brought to completion. Marty is familiar with mortar restoration and all types of stone/masonry repair and restoration procedures, can make independent assessment of on-site conditions and recommend remedial action as appropriate. He has performed extensive construction review services.
Marty's management skills are particularly evident in the leadership he displays when dealing with other consultants and contractors. In the recent past, he has successfully managed some very challenging renovation projects which were of a highly sensitive nature. Client satisfaction is apparent as clients request his competent direction time after time.
