Chateau Frontenac Masonry Restoration
Overlooking the St-Laurence River, Château Frontenac has been a historic Quebec City landmark since it’s construction between the 1890s - 1920s. Ivanhoé Cambridge has been dedicated to restoring this centennial mass masonry building, including the restoration of the Rotunda and Library towers. John G. Cooke & Associates Ltd.’s mandate included integrating historical and modern methodologies to rejuvenate the historic landmark and overseeing its implementation, with the goal of enhancing the area’s appeal while improving public safety.
